Umbrella policy,Netflix umbrella academy to expand to more states, additional programming
Updated April 28, 2019 11:54am PDT The umbrella umbrella policy will expand to 10 states over the next year, including Ohio, where Netflix is based.
The umbrella policy is a partnership between Netflix and Ohio’s umbrella organization, the Ohio Alliance of Nurses and Midwives.
It’s aimed at protecting nurses from unnecessary health care bills.
The policy was first proposed in September.
The Ohio Alliance has been working with Netflix to increase the number of providers in its umbrella state.
The Alliance will be adding to the umbrella policy as it matures, Netflix said.
The company will also begin offering more comprehensive access to Medicaid services, including inpatient care, in the coming weeks.
Netflix has expanded its footprint in Ohio by adding a new streaming platform to Ohio.
The company’s Ohio branch announced the expansion Monday, saying it is working with other state and local governments to increase access to health care services for Ohio residents.
The group said that Ohio will now have 10 Netflix affiliates.
