Gardening umbrella academy costs $2,700 in Australia
Costco is giving away a garden umbrella academy with a range of outdoor umbrellas.
It is offering $1,200 for the Gardening Umbrella Academy in New Zealand, $600 for the Garden Umbrella academy in the United States and $500 for the Outdoor Umbrella and Garden Academy in Canada.
The Gardening umbrella academy is an online course, meaning students have to complete the course on their own, rather than using a Costco app.
The Garden umbrella academy is a $2.95-a-month course and costs $3,500.
It’s available in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
Students will receive a subscription to the Garding Umbrella Club for $250 and the Outdoor umbrella club for $200.
Costco said the academy was created to provide “a range of tools to make gardening fun, useful and fun for families”.
It was launched last month and students will receive their first lesson this month.
The university said the online courses were a “transformational learning opportunity” for students.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Costco to bring this innovative and cost-effective program to our customers,” Associate Vice-President of Education and Learning at the University of New South Wales, Sue Johnson, said.
“By offering this unique opportunity, we hope that we can help thousands of Australian families with their gardening needs and give our customers even more value for their money.”
