Free standing umbrella: Amazon’s new umbrella is cheaper than a standard umbrella
Amazon’s newest umbrella, the Amazon Umbrella Double, is $69.99 on the Amazon website and $109.99 for a set of two on Amazon.com.
The Amazon umbrella comes in three sizes, with a 25-foot-long version costing $119.99.
The Amazon Umbrellas are available in three different colors, but are priced at $109 and $129, respectively.
“We have a whole bunch of them in stock,” said Jessica Lai, an Amazon spokeswoman.
“If you’re looking for a good, solid option, we think this is a great value.”
In a statement, the company said the new product is “free standing” and has “the ability to withstand some extreme weather conditions.”
“The new Amazon Umbrian Double will be available in spring 2019 and is available for purchase through September 2021.”
“The Amazon Double is available in two colors: a soft yellow and a light blue, with the option to choose a third color,” the statement continued.
“The Double has a 30-day guarantee against damage.”
Amazon said it will offer the Double at no extra charge to consumers in the United States and Canada.
Amazon is the largest online retailer in the world.
Earlier this month, Amazon said it would offer free WiFi to customers for six months after they sign up for the Amazon app, with an annual subscription of $79.99 per year.
It also said it plans to offer wireless charging stations for new devices in its retail stores, and will launch a service called Prime Now to deliver Prime-eligible items to customers’ homes.
In February, Amazon introduced a new app that lets customers stream video from their smartphones to its Echo speaker and other products, including the new Amazon Echo Show, Alexa-powered speaker and Echo Dot, Echo Dot Home, Echo Show Home, and Echo Show Dot.
