Jays lose ‘lost umbrella’ lyrics to ‘Lion King’ lyrics
A fan tweeted a song lyrics to the Jays losing a “lost umbrella” and “lion king” lyrics to a video that was posted on Instagram.
The Jays tweeted on Tuesday that it has removed the video, adding that “the lyrics to these lyrics were posted on social media by a fan and were not authorized by the Jays organization.”
“The Jays organization takes all fan posts and content very seriously, and we have reviewed the video and removed the lyrics.
The Jays organization will continue to review and correct any content posted on Twitter and Instagram, and encourage fans to do the same,” the team said in a statement.
The “lost” part of the lyrics refers to the loss of an umbrella and the “lions” refers to a lion.
The “lost umbrellas” refers specifically to the first game of the 2017 season.
The first game was scheduled for Sunday night against the Phillies.
The Orioles, who lost to the Yankees, also tweeted a message Tuesday night, saying that they had received an “unauthorized video of a fan using our clubhouse logo.”
The Orioles were the last team to lose a home game.
The Astros tweeted a statement saying that it is investigating the situation and taking the appropriate steps.
The Cubs were the first team to beat the Yankees.
