Why I am giving the umbrella academy $12 million
The umbrella academy has raised $12.7 million to expand its mission and improve customer service, it said Friday.
The academy will begin a new business unit in the fall, which will create a dedicated workforce and create more flexible work arrangements, umbrella said.
The umbrella academy is the first publicly traded umbrella company in the United States and is based in Florida.
It’s a division of umbrella, Inc. umbrella is one of the nation’s largest umbrella companies, with more than 4.2 million members, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The umbrella umbrella academy’s mission is to bring new products to customers by developing a unique umbrella product offering, creating and marketing umbrella brand identity and enhancing customer experience.
In addition to the new business entity, the umbrella Academy will also establish an umbrella advisory board, which includes directors and officers of umbrella brands and businesses.
The advisory board will provide financial and other support to the umbrella academies efforts to further its business objectives, umbrella academy said.
The umbrella Academy, which has about 2,000 employees, began operations in February.
It currently has more than 1,000 members, including a large contingent of millennials, umbrella says.
